Our heritage collection is a truly distinctive line inspired by designs from the Viking era, carefully crafted based on ancient images and internationally patented for Hrímnir. Our vision was to create headstalls for your horse that embody simplicity and timelessness, creating a connection between the modern Icelandic horse and its rich tradition.
We take our commitment to quality seriously, recognizing that headstalls endure diverse weather conditions. Crafted from the finest high-quality leather on the market, infused with oil for softness and unparalleled durability, our headstalls are designed to withstand the test of time. Featuring stainless steel buckles and a user-friendly roller for effortless adjustment, our headstalls also include an integrated buckle guard to keep the horse’s hair clear of the buckles.
Initially launched with our classic designs – the Heritage B, C, and D in simple black leather – their popularity spurred numerous requests for a broader spectrum of colors. Responding to this demand, we decided to infuse some sparkle into our collection. Our Heritage headstalls now showcase colorful rhinestones embedded in the brow band, drawing inspiration from the vibrant shades found in Icelandic nature.
The colors explained: Presently, our Heritage Collection features a variety of colors, each inspired by the captivating Icelandic landscape and tradition. We carefully choose our colors with inspiration from the dynamic Icelandic terrain, with each featuring its own magical story.
Fire & Ice:
Iceland, the home of Hrímnir, is also called the land of fire & ice. With numerous big glaciers covering 11% of the surface and frequently erupting volcanoes, the country features magnificent natural forces. The color Fire & Ice is dedicated to reflecting the contrasting forces of nature. This headstall features a beautiful ensemble of black, white, and brown rhinestones.
Blue Lagoon:
One of the most famous spots in Iceland is the Blue Lagoon. The distinct light blue colors of the naturally heated water create an unmistakable color composition. Our headstall Blue Lagoon is an homage to these beautiful colors and features blue, silver, and black rhinestones.
Sunset Rosa:
Imagine going for a ride in Iceland during the night in mid-June. During this time of the year, the sun never completely goes down and throws a magical light over the country. Our headstall Sunset Rosa captures the essence of the mesmerizing midnight sun experienced during Icelandic summer months.
Lava:
