The prerequisites for lightness and fine riding are already established in the first basic training of a horse. In this video,  Arnar Bjarki Sigurðarson (B.Sc. in Riding and Riding instructions and head trainer at Sunnuhvoll) explains how the rein aids are introduced to a young horse for the first time in a respectful and positive way.
