Building up trust – Moving the hind- and front legs

Being able to move the front- and hindlegs of a horse separately is an important indicator for the control over the horse. By controlling where a horse places its feet, one gains control over the horse’s mind. In this video, Arnar Bjarki Sigurðarson (B.Sc. in Riding and Riding instructions and head trainer at Sunnuhvoll) shows how this exercises help to improve his leadership with the 3,5 years old stallion Gormur frá Sunnuhvoli.
